Abstract: North of Rey has been a suitable shelter for the people of the Rudbar Ghasran in the battles, and political opponents of Omavid and Abbasid Caliphate as well, because of the cold weather, and mountainous and rough land. The offspring and descendants of Shiit Imams and Alavids were the biggest group of opponents of caliphate who immigrated to this area. There are more than thirty tombs belonging to descendants of Imams which half of them are located in Rudbar Ghasran. This research studies eleven cases of sepulcher attributed to descendants of Imam Kazem (pbuh) at Rudbar Ghasran. The results, which their data are gathered by documentary and field studies, specify that although the main source of attribution of these individuals to Imam Kazem (pbuh) are the genealogical texts, there are lots of paradoxes in them. Wrong reading of the words and name of places, causes incorrect attribution of some offspring of imam Kazem (pbuh) to unrelated areas. Nominal similarities between offspring, cause some difficulties in their genealogy, and existence of Iranian names, indicates basic distortions of these sources.
