تحلیلی بر نقش عوامل جغرافیایی در جنگ های ایران و یونان در دوران هخامنشی

چکیده

جنگ­ های ایران و یونان در دوران هخامنشی که در زمان پادشاهی داریوش بزرگ و جانشینش خشایارشا اتفاق افتاد، از جمله مباحث بسیار مهم تاریخی است که بنا به دلایلی پارسیان در این جنگ ­ها ناکام ماندند. از جمله عوامل بسیار تأثیرگذار در هر جنگی مباحث جغرافیایی منطقۀ نبرد است. در پژوهش پیش رو نقش عوامل جغرافیایی در عملکرد هخامنشیان در مقابل یونانیان مورد بررسی و تحلیل قرار گرفته است. هدف از انجام این پژوهش تحلیل چگونگی تأثیر عوامل جغرافیایی اعم از نظامی و طبیعی در جنگ ­های ایران و یونان و نتایج تصمیم ­گیری­ های فرماندهان نظامی هخامنشی بدون توجه به این عوامل در این جنگ‌ها است. در این مقاله تلاش شده است به این پرسش پاسخ داده شود که هخامنشیان در حملات خود به یونان در چه دام‌های جغرافیایی گرفتار شدند که بر نتیجۀ نبرد تأثیرگذار بود. نتایج بررسی حاکی از آن است که با وجود آنکه هخامنشیان در حملات خود بسیاری از جوانب را در نظر گرفته بودند، اما در چندین موقعیت در رابطه با در نظر گرفتن و شناسایی موانع جغرافیایی سهل‌انگاری کردند که بر نتیجۀ نبرد تأثیر گذاشت. نگارندگان مقالۀ حاضر گردآوری داده ­ها را از طریق مطالعات کتابخانه ­ای به سرانجام رسانده و نتایج را از طریق تحلیل توصیف تاریخی ارائه داده‌اند.

چکیده [English]

The wars of Iran and Greece during the Achaemenid period, which took place during the reign of Darius the Great and his successor, Xerxes, are among the most important historical issues, that for some reason, the Persians failed in these wars. One of the most influential factors in any war is the geographical issues of the battle zone. The present study has examined and analyzed the role of geographical factors in the performance of the Achaemenids against the Greeks. This study analyzes how the geographical factors, both military and natural, influenced the Iran-Greece wars. This article tries to answer the question of Achaemenids were caught in which the geographical traps in their attacks on Greece that affected the outcome of the battle. The results indicate that despite the fact that the Achaemenids considered many aspects in their attacks, but in several situations, they neglected to consider and identify geographical barriers that weakened or defeated them. The authors of the present paper completed the data collection through library studies and presented the results through historical descriptive analysis.
