Abstract
Abstract: The islamic period of Iran history have witnessed the emergence of numerous militarized state as Ghaznavids, Ilkhananids, Timurids and in Afsharids. In compare with other states, Afsharid Dynasty, had very short life. This paper aims to investigate the causes of early collapse of the Afsharid military government. The main hypothesis is that the lack of appropriate relation between the political and the social structure caused in political instability and eventually led to the collapse of the government. To evaluate this hypothesis, After presenting the theoretical framework, Data related to the structural characteristics of the social and political were collected using historical method. The relationship between these two aspects of the structure and its consequences have been scrutinized and the following results were obtained: during Afsharid rule, the lack of appropriate structural interaction in the macro-level of political system reproduced in social cleavages and, already, in the power block, political cohesion of groups fell apart; Because of the peoples distance from the political system, and the government has lost the support of their community and that, ultimately, led to instability and early fall.
