This paper is based on the following questions: 1) what were the Qashqai reaction about the oil nationalization movement and how it ends? 2) what are the details of “Amini-Qashqai Plan” in CIA documents and how did the Qashqai react?With the beginning of Mossaddegh government, Qashqai leaders joined the National Movement consciously. Having the power of tribal supports and as the political characters with two and then three memberships in the National Council Parliament and Senate, they were effective in the politic of those days. Their highlight impacts and the interaction between their tribal power along with Britain’s interests and the sought oil issue were important to the internal and external oppositions. Thus from the beginning of Mossadegh government, opposers try to put the Qashqai away from the movement or provoke them against it. But their plans were unsuccessful. Therefore United State and Britain Coup plan had special attention to the Qashqai. This paper is focusing on the function of the Qashqai in the Oil Nationalization Movement until the fall of Mossadegh government on August 19th, 1953 (the 28 Mordad coup).
