The aim of this study is to investigate the background and dimensions of power gaining of Georgians in second Sejucid era, which led to the Georgian Bagratids invasions to the Azerbaijan region. One of the main objectives of the Kingdom of Georgia after integrating of lands and settling to the political and economical chaotic situation of the Georgia internal, was to take a policy of territorial expansion in Islamic lands. Internal tensions and conflicts in Iraq Ajam and Azerbaijan state among Atabegs and Military Rulers and Seljuc sultans provide the best conditions for the Georgia invasions. Since the Period of the King David IV and Queen Tamara, Georgia by influencing in the emirates of Christian Armenia, Shervanshahan and East Anatolia regions, and by using of the Didgori battle results, gradually, expanded its military and political influence to the Azerbaijani cities and attacked Tabriz and Ardebil. Border challenges and the history of political-military disputes Georgian and Seljucs that back to the eleventh century, is one of the key issues in front of the Bagratids family in Georgia during the fifth and sixth centuries AD, which revealed its effects in the era of Atabeges in Azerbaijan during the second half of the sixth century AD.
